Wendell Felder isn’t even in office yet and he’s already twisting the record of an elected official who has been doing a good job on behalf of Ward 7 families and students. This comes off as him being bitter against a former challenger. It’s not like Wendell received a resounding mandate from voters to be the voice of Ward 7 – he only received 23% of the primary vote. In other words, only 23% of Ward 7 Democrats thinks he can do the job. No wonder Wendell and others in the establishment are so against rank-choice voting and opening primaries to Independents — because he would have lost. Maybe he should spend his final days of the campaign building bridges and not burning them.

It’s interesting that you did not write anything about what Neely was saying or doing when he got on the subway. You didn’t mention that he was threatening people and lunging at them. You didn’t mention how many times he’s already been arrested in the past and how he was a menace to society. Penny is a hero for defending the innocent on that subway. This is extremely biased journalism.

1). It all started with the wrong community engagement team assigned to the developer. Second, the fact that the Pastors and churches in Bellevue were not at the table from the beginning is quite troubling. Third, without the collaboration between the ANC, Community Associations, Tenant Group, and the Ward 8 Council, it would almost be impossible to achieve a sustainable and effective outcome. Please ask the zoning commission to consider putting this project on hold until all of these entities listed and highlighted in this article are at the table together. People’s lives matter and all decision makers deserve the people’s respect and support at all times. Put a pin it! Come back with a true, accurate, and transparent Bellevue Community Benefit Agreement.

Mr. Collins made a representation about me saying, “ In recent years, Donohue has garnered a reputation for surveilling Black youth and posting their photos on the Ward 8 Facebook page.”

Four years ago I posted (at the family’s request) the murder of Mr. David Farewell by Eric a Beasley just weeks ago Mr. Beasley plead guilty for the killing of Mr. Farewell and the video my security cameras captured played a vital role in putting Mr. Farewells murderer off the street and out of harm to our community.

I am asking for a retraction of this statement it’s simply not true. No one even contacted me for comment or to inquire about this.
